Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, P Diddy, Emma Stone and many other celebs jumped on the social media bandwagon this week to help make the name Kony go viral.
On Monday, filmmakers released a 30-minute video as part of an effort called KONY 2012 that targets Joseph Kony, a Ugandan bush fighter wanted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity, reports USAToday.com
Uganda, Invisible Children and #stopkony were among the top 10 trending terms on Twitter worldwide Wednesday night, and the video has been viewed for over 40 million in only 3days.
