Pretending to be Justin Bieber on Facebook, 34 Year-old Man got Arrested!
The man is alleged to have contact with numerous children online, “extorted a 12-year-old girl through Facebook while pretending to be Justin Bieber,” according to the Toronto Police.
According to a police statement released Wednesday, the man “threatened the victim repeatedly to entice her to perform s3xual acts on her webcam.
The police statement said the man used several fake Facebook profiles under the names Lee O’Neel, Justy.beber1, and Yodayoda001.
The incidents were investigated by U.S. law enforcement officials and led to the discovery of the man. The arrest was made after the man was allegedly trying to meet an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old in Toronto.
Police arrested Lee Moir, 34, of Toronto, on Wednesday. He is charged with three counts of luring a child under 16, the making and possession of child p0rn0graphy, extortion and invitation to s3xual touching. The allegations have not yet been proven in court.
