Avalanna Routh "Mrs. Bieber" passed away

Avalanna Routh, known as ‘Mrs. Bieber’ passed away Wednesday morning according to a tweet from her official Twitter account.

“Our darling Avalanna went to Heaven this morning. Oh Avalanna, the brightest star – you took our hearts with you, our greatest Love. :’( “

Avalanna’s story gained nation-wide attention after friends started a Facebook and Twitter campaign to get the 6-year-old girl — who fought a rare form of brain cancer, — to meet the love of her life: Justin Bieber. The hashtag “#MrsBieber” even trended across the country on Twitter.

After Avalanna’s story appeared on 7News, Justin tweeted out her story and her dream came true. She met Justin.

Justin Bieber & Avalanna kept in touch through her battle with brain cancer. Justin said he chatted with Avalanna on iChat, “all the time.”

Justin tweeted:

“just got the worst news ever. one of the greatest spirits i have ever known is gone. please pray for her family and for her.”

“RIP Avalanna. i love you ”

“please show respect to her and her family. say a prayer for her and for them. i miss her”
